Projects
At Mindful Gaming UK, we’re committed to creating innovative, accessible solutions that support mental well-being in the gaming community and beyond. Here are our current projects:
Mindful Gaming Centres (Flagship Project)
Our most ambitious initiative, Mindful Gaming Centres, aims to establish safe, inclusive community spaces where individuals affected by gaming disorders — and the wider public — can access support, connection, and purpose.
These centres will:
-
Provide one-to-one therapy and mindfulness workshops.
-
Host community activities to reduce isolation and promote healthy engagement.
-
Offer structured programs to prevent idleness and antisocial behaviour, especially among youth.
-
Serve as hubs for education, collaboration, and empowerment.
Our first pilot centre is planned for Birmingham, pending funding. This location will serve as a blueprint for future centres across the UK.
Mindful Clinical Courses
This fundraising initiative provides affordable, high-quality question banks for healthcare professionals preparing for exams like the MSRA, UKMLA, PLAB 1, MRCGP, MRCPsych etc.
Features:
-
AI-enhanced question updates.
-
Mindfulness tips integrated into study routines.
-
Group study tools with video calling and AI note-taking.
Revenue from subscriptions helps fund our therapy services and community centre development.
Mindful Theory Driving
Another key fundraising project, this platform offers an affordable, DVSA-licensed driving theory test prep experience — designed with mindfulness and accessibility in mind.
Highlights:
-
Gamified learning modules.
-
Discounts for individuals with gaming disorders.
-
Optional donation model to support our charitable mission.
Launching July 2025, this initiative will help us reach new audiences while raising funds for our core services.
🏢 Introducing Mindful Gaming Community Centres
We’re also preparing to launch our Mindful Gaming Centres — safe, inclusive community spaces designed to serve not only gamers but the wider community.
These centres will:
-
Provide in-person therapy and mindfulness workshops.
-
Host community activities that promote mental wellness and social connection.
-
Offer structured programs to prevent idleness and reduce antisocial behaviour, especially among young people.
-
Create a welcoming space for families, educators, and health professionals to collaborate and learn.
Our first centre is planned for Birmingham, pending funding. This pilot location will serve as a blueprint for future centres across the UK, helping us reach more people where they are — in their communities.
Why It Matters
-
Gaming disorder is now recognized by the WHO.
-
Many individuals face long NHS wait times or lack access to specialized care.
-
Community-based support can reduce isolation, improve outcomes, and build resilience.
-
Local centres can help divert vulnerable individuals from harmful behaviours by offering meaningful engagement and support.
